Congratulations to everyone that took part in the killing of the first E. Octavis since the Glory Days update (i.e. not bugged anymore ).
Good job, and be ready to start farming it every week.

Our mumble server has been upgraded to version 1.2.4, which is currently in beta.

One of the new features is the new Opus codec, which is supposed to bring better voice quality and even more reduced bandwidth. To be able to use it, we need everyone to upgrade their mumble client to the latest 1.2.4 beta version. You can download it from here :

After 50% of the active users have upgraded their mumble version, the server will automatically enforce the new Opus codec, which means the rest of the people will not be able to communicate until they upgrade their clients.

A fair-haired elf girl was bustling inside the shop. There were no visitors, one of those lazy days. The sun was sluggishly crawling across the dirty-blue sky, peering through dusty mullioned windows. There lay a large white egg on the armchair by the wall, gleaming in the sun. The girl found it right in her back garden. The girl carefully wrapped the egg in blankets hoping soon to see a turtle or an avian to hatch from it.
The door-bell rang - a tall black-cloaked archer walked into the shop.
'I need 2 ounces of centaur's plasma,' he croaked.
'It's been gone from sale for ages! They banned centaur-hunting some 10 years ago!' the elf girl sounded surprised.
The stranger looked angry for a split second then his gaze fell upon the egg... In a blink of an eye he pulled an arrow out of the quiver and shot right through the egg.
'What are you doing?!' screamed the girl rushing towards the egg.
'Don't!' the stranger grasped her hand firmly.
A black liquid was oozing out of the cracked egg that filled the room with awful stench.
'You're mad if you wanted to raise a dragon that'd only eat you alive and burn the whole town down. Where did you find it?'
'In the garden...' whispered the girl, stunned.
'Take me there at once. We need to destroy all of the eggs until it's too late.'
'I don't understand! What's going on?'
The stranger fell silent. The girl thought there would be no answer but then the man said:
'Dragons are upon Aden. It's time to save the world.'


26th November till 4th December: eggs are obtained as drop from mobs.
4th till 11th December: NPC Servant of Flames Aslan remains in the game to give out rewards.
11th December: end of the event. The NPC disappears and the following items will be removed:

• Agathion - Spirit of Flame
• Small Draco Egg
• Small Draco Egg x 10
• Small Draco Egg x 50
• Large Draco Egg
• Shattered Egg Shell
• Draco's Blessing (1-hour)
• Draco's Gift
• Draco's Shiny Gift

Remember to use the items up by 11th December:

• Draco's Blessing (1-hour)
• Draco's Gift
• Draco's Shiny Gift
• Lyn Draco's Gift
• Lyn Draco's Accessory Pack

All other rewards remain even after the event finishes.


Event description
1. Obtain eggs
Hunt mobs and collect eggs. They can be traded/dropped/exchanged.


2. Incubate eggs
Speak to NPC Servant of Flames Aslan who will give you Agathion - Spirit of Flame. With its help you can summon Flame Spirit. You cannot obtain 2 Agathions at the same time.

• Summon Flame Spirit and use Pa'agrio's Hand skill to heat the egg to an appropriate temperature
• Small Draco Egg's temperature can be raised 1-10 degrees at once
• Large Draco Egg can only be heatd by 0.1-1 degrees
• Special interface will help you look over the heating process
• Heat the egg up to 37 degrees but don't go higher than that
• Draco Eggs summon is only possible in peace zones
• Small Draco Eggs should be heated within 20 seconds to 26-37 degrees
• Large Draco Eggs should be heated within 25 second to 36-37 degrees; the closer the temperature to 37 degrees the better
• Pa'agrio's Hand is less effective with Large Eggs, you might need help from your friends
• When heating Large Eggs a player who summoned the Egg receives special reward; so does the one who heated it to the highest temperature
• Special box will inform you of the details of the heating process

3. Hatch eggs

• Use Incubatioin skill upon a heated egg
• If hatching is successful a Small Draco will hatch from the egg; he'll give you Draco's Gift
• If you heat an egg to 37 degrees precisely Small Draco will reward you with Draco's Shiny Gift
• If hatching or heating is unsuccessful you will get Shattered Egg Shell that you'll be able to exchange for event items at the event NPC
• Upon summoning an egg you will feel the effect of Attention to Draco Incubation that won't allow you to summon other eggs
• Attention to Draco Incubation puts your target to the egg, even when you are in a party where one of the members summoned an egg

4. Lyn Draco
NPC Servant of Flames Aslan can unite several of your eggs in one. 10 Small Eggs will create Small Draco Egg x 10, 50 Eggs - Small Draco Egg x 50. You can obtain 10 or 50 times more rewards.

Lyn Draco can appear when Small Draco Egg x 10 and x50 are hatched successfully. Message will notify everyone in the range of 4000 of the appearance of the creature. Lyn Draco will give you Lyn Draco's Gift from which you can obtain Lyn Draco's Accessory Pack with a certain chance.


5. Aslan's Lottery
You can play a game with Aslan: bring 50 Shattered Egg Shells and get one of the following:

• Small Draco Egg
• Large Draco Egg
• Draco's Gift
• Draco's Shiny Gift

Be careful! Aslan can trick you and you might get nothing at all!

 - Draco's Gift contains:
 Draco’s Health Potion
Potion that instantly restores 3,000 HP. Remaining power restores CP.

 Draco’s Mana Potion
Potion that instantly restores 100 MP.

 Low-Grade Reputation Scroll
Raise Reputation value by 1,000. Can only be used by a Chaotic character (0 Reputation or lower) while in Floran Village. Cannot be used when in a Cursed Sword transformation.

 Mid-Grade Reputation Scroll
Raise Reputation value by 5,000. Can only be used by a Chaotic character (0 Reputation or lower) while in Floran Village. Cannot be used when in a Cursed Sword transformation.

 PK Scroll (Low-grade)
Lowers PK value by 1. Can only be used by a character with a PK value above 1 while in Floran Village. Cannot be used when in a Cursed Sword transformation.

 PK Scroll (Mid-grade)
Lowers PK value by 3. Can only be used by a character with a PK value above 1 while in Floran Village. Cannot be used when in a Cursed Sword transformation.



 Shiny Draco’s Gift contains:
 Attribute Stone Pack
 Attribute Crystal Pack
 Blessed Enchant Armor Scroll - R-Grade
When enchanted, increases P. Def. by 2 for R-Grade armor and accessories. Greatly increased starting at +4. Can be enhanced safely to +3. When enhanced +4 or more, HP also increases according to the enchant value. If enchanting fails, the item will not be crystallized, but the enchant value will be reset to 0.

 Blessed Enchant Weapon Scroll - R-Grade
Increases P. Atk. by 6 for R-grade one-handed sword, one-handed blunt, dagger, spear, and other weapons when enchanted. Increases P. Atk. by 7 for two-handed sword, two-handed blunt, dual sword, and two-handed fist weapon, and crossbow. Increases P. Atk. by 12 for bow weapons. Increases M. Atk. by 5 for all weapons. P. Atk. and M. Atk. greatly Increases starting at +4. For blessed weapons, all stats will Increases more than normal weapons. If enchanting fails, the item will not be crystallized, but the enchant value will be reset to 0.

A level 5 Legendary Dye of a stat at random (STR, INT, CON, WIT, MEN, or DEX).

I wanted to make a better explanation about DKP and how the site works for a long time and now the new site gives me the opportunity to do so.
If you click on the DKP Rules tab above, you will see the guide is already in progress. You will see that the new system is way more advanced than the previous one and with time you will like it even more.

The new website has a fully functional mobile version for those that open the site through their smartphones and if you login you can even signup for the upcoming raids or check your points etc.

There are many new features, like for example some news can be only read by current redguard memebers, the raid planner is very flexible, you can export it to ical format and add it to your google calendar for  example, you can have as many characters as you want and the DKP itself is remade so we can have a better distribution of points and items.

The forum also has a mobile version, that will activate automatically when you visit it through a smartphone.

If there is anyone that wants to volunteer and help me write the guide, let me know and i will give you permissions to edit pages.

On a related topic i always wanted to setup a "Wiki" like archive, where we can keep useful guides or informations about Lineage 2, so if there are any enthusiasts for that, you know where to find me.

As you can see, we have a brand new site ! There's lots of features that we didn't have before, most of which will be explain in the members section.
